You Know You’re Getting Old When…

…you go to a BYU basketball game, and one of the players is the son of a guy you used to watch play when you were a teenager.

How to Share Files Among Multiple Computers

Let’s say you have two computers. Maybe you just bought a new one and need a way to get files from one computer to the other. Or you and your spouse each have a computer and you need a way to share files between yourselves. Or let’s say you just have one computer but want [...]

Figure This One Out

Have you ever wondered why we call it the “roof” of our mouth when really it’s the ceiling?

One Way to Define Intelligence

“It is true intelligence for a man to take a subject that is mysterious and great in itself and to unfold and simplify it so that a child can understand it.” (“Discourse,” Deseret News, Sept. 30, 1857, 238.)

Laurel isn’t in any pain right now, which is an amazing thing.

Making Progress

Well, the doctor came in this morning and broke her water for her. And she is getting a drug infused into her that will speed up labor. She quickly became dilated to about a 5 after that. So she’s halfway there (the goal is to reach a 10 before you start to push).
She’s still smiling [...]

About John McCain’s Prisoner-of-War Experience

I ran across an article that was published in US News and World Report in 1973 after John McCain was released from being a POW for 5 1/2 years. They republished it recently. It was very interesting to read. Sometimes we think it’s bad when we have to deal with difficult circumstances, but hearing his [...]
