Glenn Beck’s Conversation with Jon Huntsman About Integrity and Cancer Research

I came across a video of when Glenn Beck interviewed Jon Huntsman, Sr. on CNN in December 2007. He highlights some of the experiences from Huntsman’s life and how he became who he is and attained the success he has.

Among the topics they discuss:

  • How he gave up $200 million in a business deal to maintain his integrity
  • How he grew up in a home with cardboard walls separating families
  • How he took out a loan so he could keep his commitments to charity
  • How he supports cancer research in unique ways
  • Some of the research techniques used at the Huntsman Cancer Institute

The discussions about cancer research can help you understand a little bit about why I’m so interested in this field and why the Huntsman Cancer Institute is such an amazing place.

Watch this video.

I hope that Glenn Beck has a similar experience of his moral compass kicking in. I suspect it will involve a drastic change to his programs or simply walking away from them and the relentless ridicule, sarcasm and divisiveness that defines them.
