Firefox Version 3 Is Out

In case you didn’t know, there is a new version of Firefox out. Firefox is a Web browser that is much better than Internet Explorer. It is programmed by volunteers who want people to have a better experience browsing the Web. I have been using it for years. And it’s now used by 18.41% of people on the web (according to Wikipedia).

The latest version has lots of improvements and new features to help you find stuff easier, browse faster, and consume less of your computer’s memory, etc. More about the new features here.

To install or upgrade, go here. This is a shameless plug, but if you download through this page, I get a $1 referral fee (paid by Google). :)

I just got a new computer at work that only had Explorer. I kept having problems with it and decided to download Firefox. It’s so much better. I don’t get error messages every 5 minutes. There are things about Explorer I like more, but overall I like Firefox much better.
