One Month Down, One To Go…
Laurel and I got engaged a month ago yesterday. And in one month from yesterday we will be married!
I used to think people were exaggerating when they said how much work it was to prepare for a wedding. It’s not so much what you have to do but that you have to stay on top of your other responsibilities (work, school, church, etc.) at the same time. And it’s hard because you have lots of decisions to make–you feel there’s a finality to the decisions, so you hate to be too hasty. Overall, though, it’s a fun time because you get to spend more time together and start planning your life together.
I have literally been counting down the days, but I’m trying to remember that this is a unique time to enjoy without focusing too much on the next stage.
