Season’s Greetings

Well, I wanted to give a general update for anyone who cares…

I finished school last Thursday. It’s a relief to be done, but I learned a lot. I spent about 40 hours working one of my finals, because you really had to know the material. Fortunately, we had the lectures recorded on video, so I was able to review pretty well. Overall, I’d say the semester turned out harder than I expected (from what people had told me), but it wasn’t insane (except Finals week). Over the break I’m hoping to be able to spend some time working on research.

My house sale was scheduled to complete by Wednesday, 12/20. It looks like some mishandling of the loan documents may cause it to be pushed back a day or two, but as of right now everything looks like it will go through fine. It will be a huge relief to have that burden off my shoulders. I’ve started to look at homes around here and have interest in some new town homes that will be built in Sandy over the next year. We’ll see.

I’ll be spending Christmas break with family, which will be nice. We’ll carry on with our normal traditions, except we’re going lighter on gifts this year in an attempt to keep our focus more on the true meaning of Christmas. The best thing for me will be having family together and everyone being mostly healthy.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas!! If you don’t celebrate it, then I wish you a Merry December!!
